Amy Doty finished 4th Overall in the Mixed Equipment Solo Championships with the North Texas Colorguard Association on Friday. The duet of Amy Doty and Brittany Tarver finished FIRST PLACE in the North Texas Colorguard Association Ensemble Championships!!!! Wow!!!!

Solo and Ensemble is March 7th. All students who are planning on playing a solo (required of Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band students, recommended for Concert Band students) need to have their solos selected with the help of their private teacher or director asap.

Congratulations to CALEB COX (trumpet) and MATT DAVIS (euphonium) for earning positions in the 4A ALL-STATE BAND!!!! All of our Area students worked very hard for this audition, and even though they did not all make it, they are definitely all-state level students in our book!

Any student who advances to AREA will be invited to our annual STATE PREPARATION RETREAT on January 2-3, 2009 at Hoblitzelle Retreat and Conference Center outside of Midlothian.
